Bridge in Depok's Pitara Area Closed by Thugs, the Jaguar Team descends to the location

Liputan Digital. The Anti-Riot Interruption Guard Team, or the so-called Jaguar Team, dispersed a number of thugs who closed the road in the Pitara Bridge area, Pancoran Mas District, Depok, West Java. Depok Police Special Forces action was welcomed by residents and road users, Tuesday, December 25, 2018.

Fully armed, the Jaguar team arrived in the area around 16:30 WIB. The team immediately took action to disperse the thugs and reopen the bridge cover they had installed.

This event originated from the many complaints from the public through social media that they said they could not cross the road. The reason, a number of thugs blocked the road to the bridge using bamboo and wood.

In fact, since it was inaugurated by the Mayor of Depok, Idris Abdul Somad on Friday, December 21, 2018, the area has been passed, especially by two-wheeled vehicles, starting December 24, 2018. But in fact, the road was closed by a handful of parties to reap personal benefits or group.

"People cry, complain to us. This is pity. Try to imagine if someone is sick and cannot pass, it's pity. This is done by some thugs, "said Team Commander of the Jaguar Polresta Depok, Iptu Winam Agus at the scene.

Responding to residents' reports, Winam and his members acted decisively by forcibly dismantling the wood facing the road.

In addition to closing access to the Pitara bridge using wood, a number of thugs also made public transportation piled up.

"Open, if you don't open this vehicle, it will prevent me from fixing the tires. I bring you. I must side with the community, "Winam shouted

Meanwhile, a number of men suspected of being troublemakers did not claim to have closed the road. They disappeared one by one when the officers were questioned.

"I know, you are looking for profit with this situation. You are an angkot timer and this is troubling the public. If there are still people who are complaining, I will bring those of you involved, "Winam said firmly.

Jaguar's actions got sympathetic to a number of road users and local residents. Because, as long as the road is closed, they have to go round and round to find another route.

"Thank God, thank you Tim Jaguar. So far, those of us who want to go to work are troublesome, have to go around looking for a way. Thank you Jaguar, for defending the public interest, "Indra said, one of the motorists.

Pitara Bridge has been repaired since it was damaged in October 2018. Although it has been inaugurated, until now the Pitara bridge can only be passed by two-wheeled vehicles. Especially for four-wheeled vehicles or cars, access to the plan will be opened in the new year.
